For Sale: Anne Demeulemeester Cashmere Vest/Waistcoat

Weirdly enough, I don't believe I've ever owned any Ann Demeulemeester pieces. It's just one of those things.. I really love her stuff but I never seem to find any of the pieces that I love in the shops or online.

But this afternoon I found a cashmere/cotton mix vest/waistcoat for sale and the details were so great I couldn't resist.

HOWEVER, this is now not a time for me to be SPENDING!!! I need to be selling and making money. So, knowing that I am not a big one for vests (or waistcoasts, whatever you may call them!) I should probably send it out..

PICTURES AND INFORMATION COMING SOON! E-MAIL ME FOR DETAILS.

For Sale: MARNI VEST JACKET

I saw this the other day and immediately thought it would fill my desire for hitting the 'menswear-as-womenswear' want from last season and also had a hint of the countryside 'Barbour' aesthetic so I couldn't resist, however as soon as I got it home and started trying on I realised that it just doesn't mesh with my style/wardrobe.

DETAILS COMING SOON!!

So, sadly want to get rid of it and put it in the right wardrobe!! As you can see, it's a Size 38. I thought I remembered seeing this in the catwalk pictures so I was going to track some down but right now this is just a temporary listing until I have time to get down to details!!

PS. Sorry for the crappy shots - just quick iPhone pics!

MULBERRY Red Leather Elbow Gloves RRP: £295

Ugh. I couldn't resist!! I was at the Mulberry shop and couldn't decide the red and the dark green so... *shameface* bought both..

I felt so bad buying myself pricey gifts so close to Christmas so I left one pair gift wrapped and told my brother he could give it to me!! So I've been wearing the dark green and as I am now in desperate need of $$$ I am going to reluctantly part with the other pair.

They are GORGEOUS. The softest thin leather that allows you to move freely and yet keeps you super warm. They come right up to the elbow so are perfect for shorter length sleeves. Fabulous rich red.
They are brand new in the box with tags. RRP £295.

BOOTS!!

So, I've been buying way too many pairs of black ankle boots lately. Time to let go of a few:

Two that I need to list are a couple of beauts from Topshop. One is a pair of clog boots that has been blogged to death everywhere (but with two pairs of black ankle clog botts I think I need to have a cull)..

They are the Topshop ASHBY Clog boots featured in the article above. Retailed at $180 or £110. They are Size 39 Brand New. I ordered them in case I couldn't get the ASOS Admire's in my size (after trying to squeeze into a Size 38) but I got them and now I feel I don't need three pairs of clog boots!!

They got great reviews on all the blogs and are gorgeous boots.

The second pair of boots that I'm (reluctantly) selling are another pair of Topshop black ankle boots. I'm so sad to see these go but they really are a tad too small for me and I don't think I'm going to be able to make them work. All I can do is hope that I find a size up on eBay as they're sold out in stores!!

They are the famous ADDISON black suede wedge ankle boots. Size 39. I had been coveting them for a while but finally broke down and got them as I was terrified they would sell out. Unfortunately the only size they had left was a little too small for me so I just hoped I could make it work. I wore them for a 100m walk from my car to Tara's apartment and that's all the wear they've had! So they're in fabulous condition.

They retailed at $160 or £100 in the UK.

I really am dreading parting with these. They have GREAT height but are so easy to walk in because of the gradual wedge and the tilted sole. Lovely leather suede and they also look fab if you leave the zipper undone and just fold over the top to have the beige leather exposed. Really a gorgeous pair of boots that go with everything. The heel is about 4.5" and the platform at the front is approx 1" so it adds good height without being too scary!

shopping in vancouver

yikes, i'm already going overboard with the shopping here.

couldn't help but purchase a gorgeous MARNI vest as i fell in love with it in the store but as soon as i got it home i realized how little i have that goes with it. be prepared to see that appearing very soon!

also, my fabulous comma boots arrived and they are too small!! so let me know if you are interested and i can sell them, otherwise i think they're going to have to head back to NASTY GAL!!

PS. i guess now i get why they're called the 'comma' boot.. INSANE shape. so cool..!

Also, my favourite designer consignment store has a massive 50% off sale now on and loads of great pieces (including Vanessa Bruno and Victor + Rolf dresses for less than $50) so if there's anything you're looking for just let me know and I'll keep my eyes open!

FUTURE CLASSICS Silk Blouse Jacket in floral Liberty Print

Ever since I saw, stalked and then bought my first piece by FUTURE CLASSICS I have been absolutely hooked! I've begun collecting pieces like stamps and my bank balance can't handle it any longer!!

I have already sold my beautiful FUTURE CLASSICS clutch (see below) and a few dresses and now I am selling of the next batch of items. Starting with this jacket but with more pieces to follow (including a black silk bondage dress, some knitwear, possibly a couple of jersey pieces and a Goddess Breton Jacket from last season BNWT)

This is a beautiful jacket which I had spotted when the collection came out but didn't think I could afford (I usually save my big buck purchases for shoes and dresses). It's a gorgeous vintage Liberty Print and one of my personal faves! (I still have a pair of cushions in this print that we had in the house when I was growing up).

The dress as featured on the website in the AW08 Look Book

The jacket made up of sections of 100% silk contrasting with panels of 100% cotton which give it enough stretch to really hug the body. The front buttoning section is gorgeous with bags of intricate detail - each button hole has a rectangle of sewn around it in a kind of 'frame' all beautifully hand stitched.

One of my favourite features of the jacket is the fabulous shoulder pads. The structured silk covered shoulder pads are attached to the outside of the jacket to give it that extra 'edge' and almost a 'Balmain'-like look. In the season after this FUTURE CLASSICS built upon this focus on shoulder pads and brought out shoulder pad holsters - this is a softer and more feminine version.

Another of my favourite features is the back of the jacket. Gorgeous silk pleating that spread out towards the bottom (still tacked to remain in place).

The jacket is brand new, unworn with the tags still attached (for now!! beware, leave it too long and I will no longer be able to resist wearing it and once that happens I'll probably fall in love and have to remove the listing!!)

Label has designer name, website and season details (AW08: Anarchia Temporalis), Size (UK 12) and Item number & name (458 SOFT FITTED JACKET W/SHOULDER PADS)

Originally sold for £350 and as it's brand new I have an asking price of £175

Please don't hesitate to contact me for any further information or photographs!

FUTURE CLASSICS clutch purse - SOLD

This is an incredible clutch bag from an incredible designer (and one of my personal favourites), FUTURE CLASSICS.

It's made of the most incredible black leather and is a perfect oversized clutch. It has so many perfect little pockets that you'll be tempted to make it your everyday bag. I bought this off eBay recently because I thought it was a wallet but I hadn't read the description properly and it is in fact a clutch bag. Measuring 15.5" across and 7" high.

Fits in an incredible amount. Clasp is a little stiff and tough to open although I'm sure this could be fixed if it bothered you. It has barely been used and I would describe it as being in 'As New' condition.

The girl who sold this to me was given it as a gift from the designer for some work she did for her. She thought it had probably cost about £300 however given that most Future Classics dresses retail at £800-900 I imagine it was probably more.

£100 - SOLD

VINTAGE sequin & beaded bodysuit

Fabulous vintage sequin bodysuit. Very good quality. This thing weighs a TON! Every single sequin is centered with a heavy bead and it is covered. Beaded trim. Fully lined so very comfortable. Mesh bottom half with snap closure. Looks fantastic with trousers or skirt but if you feel a little more adventurous it will look incredible over some tights or leggings a la Lady Gaga. Probably about a UK 8-10.

SOLD - MARNI structured dress

Very luxe structured dress by MARNI. Heavy material that hangs just beautifully in a cocoon-like shape which is typical of Marni's most iconic pieces. Fabulous plastic ruffles down the front covering the top of the zip.

Incredible pleating at the hem with some bubble effect. Hangs away from legs. Quite short so can be worn as a dress or a tunic.

SOLD!

AVANT GARDE black sweater dress

Black sweater dress. In 'As New' condition.

Thick jersey cotton of very high quality with a contrast cotton neck. Can be worn as a dress or tunic. Diamante backwards YES on the front. Unisex. S-M

When I bought it I thought it was very 'Gareth Pugh' but I found today a top by (the wonderful) COMPLEX GEOMETRIES which looks just like it:
